Generally, with an event the easiest part is the time between the arrival of the first guest up to the departure of the last one. The stress of piecing together all the demands of the client along with organising various suppliers often means one of two things happen, or if you are really unlucky, both. The first is event managers become frustrated and over worked with the time critical deadlines of events. This creates a climate of chaos where supply lines can break down or be totally unfulfilled leaving both the client feeling dissatisfied and the venue being discredited. Furniture removal & Space Management

Our furniture removal and space management service is an industry leading package that outlines our ingenuity to offer practical solutions for our clients. Our coordinators collaborate with event managers to create bespoke spaces for each unique function, optimising the venues capacity to hold exclusive hire events. [click here to read more] This service has pioneered a shift in the way our clients are now able to take on large exclusive hire events at their venues where it would have previously been unimaginable. For example, if you take a restaurant that takes anywhere between 200 to 300 covers, our furniture removal experts are capable of transforming that dining space into a venue that can accommodate upwards of 450 guests for a standing reception.

So how does it work? The process is simple and effective.

 

  • You send us a floor plan, or we will create one, which highlights the furniture you want removed and or rearranged. This is the template we follow to create the space you want.

 

  • Our events managers will then look at your proposals and create a labour package best suited to achieve the desired outcome.

 

  • We then arrive on the day of the event and remove, replace and install any furniture you want.

 

  • We use protective wrapping materials to wrap any furniture you would like removed and either store them onsite if the space is available, or offsite by using lorries to transport the stock to our secure climate controlled warehouse.

 

  • These items will then be kept with us until the event has finished and then brought back to the venue and reinstalled to the exact floor plan it was removed from, ready for normal restaurant service.

This is why we offer a variety of furniture, props and equipment to assist our clients in creating awe inspiring events. We have a catalogue of banqueting furniture that allows you to choose from tables and chairs when laying on a seated dinner for a company awards ceremony for example. This allows our clients to reduce another supplier and use PPM as a one stop control hub for events operations, allowing the venues events managers to focus on more critical tasks. To add to our furniture hire service, during our time with assisting with events we have been fortunate enough to cross paths with some of the most unique, innovative and most sought after suppliers in the industry. Our connections with these suppliers allow us to source some of the events industries most in demand suppliers on shorter notice, and at more favourable prices than what may be possible through conventional enquiries. We can create a package where we can remove and store the furniture from a venue, bring in banqueting tables and chairs, and lay on a whole production of floral arrangements, lighting, and a DJ with an amazing sound system.
